I purchased your plugin to send an email to customers who place an order for a backordered product. As far as I can tell it has been working fine for a couple months. This weekend a customer let me know that he got the Backorder Notice email but the product on his order wasn’t on back order. Can you tell me from the screen shot linked below if I have this rule set up the right way to send an email to anyone who places an order for a item that is on backorder? Or is there a better way to set this up?

Thanks

I’m sorry, can you please explain this comment? What do you mean it is working fine? Did you see my comments from yesterday with screenshots of orders that did not contain Backordered products and yet they received the email from your plugin. For some reason the rule on the email is allowing it to send to orders that it shouldn’t.

There were several times over the past couple days where the email is being sent and none of the items on the order are in a back ordered status. They either have stock or stock isn’t being managed. There is one variable product that seemed to trigger the email more than once. It is a product that has about 8 variations and I just started managing inventory on it last week. Before that I just had them all listed as “in stock” but last week I changed to manage inventory and put numbers on each variation. This product triggered the email a few times and each time it did the variation purchased had quality in stock. The email shouldn’t have triggered. Should I delete the email and create a new one set up the same way? Could it have gotten corrupted? Is there something else I could do?? Need this to work.

Here in this screen shot is an example of an order placed yesterday that received the \”backorder notice email\” and you can see that nothing ordered indicates on the line item that it is backordered. The box on the right in the screen shot shows where quantities we adjusted for each item in the order. The only one that wasn\’t was the \”Non-Bushing Full Length Sizer – 6.5mm Creedmoor\” and that item has no inventory management. It is just marked as \”In Stock\”. https://www.dropbox.com/s/tfjbk4zseljovbd/ScreenShot2019-05-07at8.41.43AM.png?dl=0

I already sent you the link to the screen shot of that order in my last comment. It is linked at the bottom. I started the whole comment with the sentence “Here is the screen shot…” Are you not seeing that link? I will paste it below again.

Here is another one from today that got the \”Backorder\” email. The link below is the screenshot of this order. It shows the item ordered had 48 units in stock and he got the backorder email after ordering 1.
